Here are a few facts about me personally. I have been happily married
for 47 years to a great gal (Bobbi), and we have four wonderful
sons (thus four wonderful daughters - their wives). All are Christians.
At present we have ten grandchildren. I began preaching God's word
while serving in the Navy and upon my return to the Ohio Valley
continued to do so for several years, on an appointment basis, preaching
in West Virginia, Ohio and Pennsylvania. After being diagnosed with
Multiple Sclerosis, several activities slowed down or stopped, until
I was forced to retire from my secular job by pain, spasms and fatigue,
in 1996. I presently serve as one of the elders in the Paden City
church of Christ, having begun that work in 1981.
Since my activity is limited, I began acquiring quite a bit of religious information from web searching during study. One day, while meditating on how I could be more useful to God and his work, it occurred to me that maybe I could use the web in some way. Thus this page, which has consumed a lot of my time lately. I know there are other pages somewhat like it, so I'm not sure if it will be useful to you. If you think it is, I would love to know, so I just don't spin my wheels. This page is constructed on a Dell Inspiron 7000 laptop, which enables me to continue working sitting, lying or standing, as I frequently have to rest or change positions, due to the MS. I only state that, so that if there are others out there who are limited by sickness or disability, to let you know that you can use this type of computer when you cannot use a desktop. There is a lot to be added to this page yet, as it will be constantly under construction with compiling links as well as original material, so we hope you will keep checking back.
